ReBellion Handbell Ensemble
ReBellion is an auditioned community ensemble of St. Louis area musicians, united by a shared passion for performance excellence.
ReBellion proudly brings dynamic handbell concerts and performances to venues and communities around the St. Louis metropolitan area, working as a team to bring our audiences exciting repertoire on 5.5 octaves of Schulmerich handbells and Malmark Choirchimes. ​Since 2009, we've enjoyed being a part of the area handbell community, performing in the Area 8 - Handbell Musicians of America, the Missouri River Ring Festival, and in collaboration with the St. Louis Wind Symphony!

ReBellion's Director: Elin Hogan-Gomez
Elin Hogan-Gomez has been a member of ReBellion since 2015, taking over as director in 2023. Elin serves at Salem Lutheran Church Black Jack, as Director of Music and Financial Secretary. Classically trained in Parish Music, she attended Concordia University—St. Paul, and graduated in 2009.
Elin and her husband, Adam, were married in 2020 and enjoy going to the St. Louis Zoo, cooking, playing games, and attending productions at various theatres. They live in Webster Groves with their dog (Rocky), cat (Cash), and a tank full of tropical fish.
Minor ReBellion: A ReBellion Small Ensemble
Minor ReBellion is a small group of ReBellion Ringers, performing arrangements for duets through septets.
Minor ReBellion brings dynamic handbell concerts and performances to the community in unique venues around the St. Louis metropolitan area.
